Halloween Lights Synchronized To AWOLNATION's 'Sail'

halloween-lights-display-sail.jpg

This is Youtuber user treehorn89's Halloween light display synchronized to AWOLNATION's 'Sail'. Sail is one of those songs I like to listen to when I'm depressed. Which, if we're being honest, is constantly. Now I wouldn't go as far as to blame God for giving me a faulty mind, but damn if I don't wake up most mornings wishing I could trade this flawless pecker for a happier brain.

Keep going for the video while I lay in the shower.

Thanks to Stephanie, who got the cops called on her for answering the door to trick-or-treaters while revving a real chainsaw. Did it still have the blades on it? "Yes." Okay you might have deserved that.

There are Comments.

Only in America people waste electricity for leisure purposes, these people pay over 10k on October from leaving these circus lights on for a month all night.

  • catallergy

You seriously think that it's only in America that people waste electricity for leisurely purposes? Have you never been to another country?

  • URDUNSON

on the contrary yes I have been to every continent in the world aside from Europe, which is on my next list. Out of all the countries I visited America wastes the most resources especially with disposable items. You clearly have not been to other 3rd world countries who would be able to use this holiday neighborhood show off for their dire survival needs.

    The ignorance, it hurts.

    Travel to understand than reply

So you bring up 3rd world countries? They have problems delivering drinkable water and medicine to their citizens, let alone a steady and reliable electrical grid. How about you look at other first world nations. They use electricity for leisurely purposes just like the United States does.

  • URDUNSON

I'm not sure you understand the scale of how these people celebrate their holiday, have you been to these neighborhoods where it's considered a competition? There are whole areas where every house is covered in lights full scale for literally a month. They do this for major holidays and for what? To show off their residual income and a trophy for best decorated house? For business and tourist attraction spots i get it but this? No way.

I'm not sure you understand how an economy works. These people may 'waste' money but in doing so are purchasing from dozens of companies and effectively creating hundreds of jobs. if they enjoy what they're doing let them, and you never know some of their decorations could have even been made in third world countries.
Also a side note, the guy that does this every Halloween owns a lighting tech company. Setting this up looks like a lot of fun and also some pretty effective marketing for himself.

  • I think we can definitely blame their extravagant Halloween decorations on their ADD, baby.
