AWOLNATION's 'Sail' Performed By Musical Tesla Coil

awolnation-sail-on-tesla-coil.jpg

This is a video from the Kansas City Maker Faire of a Tesla coil playing AWOLNATION's 'Sail'. It almost sounds like the song was meant to be performed by Tesla coils. It wasn't though, it was meant to be performed in my earbuds when I am pumping iron at the gym AND GETTING F***ING YOKED. I don't even know what that means, I just want you to imagine me as a really muscular dude and not some guy with chicken legs so weak they can barely pedal a bicycle. The last time I took the stairs instead of the elevator? Two broken legs.

Hit the jump for the video.

Thanks to Stephanie, who dreams of sailing a flying pirate ship to the moon. Whoa, you too?

I wish GW could start beating other sites to the punch like he used to.

  • This was way more rad than this guy got credit for. And then to add insult to injury the guy on the right starts asking a question right when he should be soaking up the applause from his new fans.

A little more showmanship than standing against a wall playing pocket pool and I think this dudes got something. Take a cue from DJs. They pretend to do stuff the whole time even though they just hit shuffle on their ipod.

You have to realize that that guy asking questions isn't an insult to him. There is little more that the science oriented society loves more than to be asked questions about the things that love. Though if they were stupid questions then yeah, that sucks.
