This is The Pixel Painter, a cute/sweet/heartwarming documentary about Hal Lasko, a 97-year old retired graphic designer who's partially blind and spends up to 10-hours a day creating beautiful art pieces in Microsoft Paint, pixel by pixel. When I retire? I'm not creating anything but a mess for the people at the nursing home to clean up. *flinging Jello at the wall* I hate my kids.
Hit the jump for a couple more shots of Hal's work and the video, and you can actually buy prints of his pieces HERE.
Thanks to E V I L A R E S and Tina, who love cute old people almost as much as they love cute people their own age.
