My Little Pony Themed Ghostbusters Proton Pack

July 29, 2013

Always thought Ghostbusters and My Little Pony were mutually exclusive? WELL THINK AGAIN, because here's a Pinky Pie themed proton pack. The pack features a whole bunch of lights and custom sound effects and was made by prop-buildier Judson Hudson for a lady friend of his which was a relief because I thought for sure this thing was going straight onto the shoulders of a brony. And bronies, as I'm sure you're all aware, are grown men who weren't allowed to watch Saturday morning cartoons when they were kids and have decided to rebel against their parents later in life. Or at least that's how it was explained to me. Also, the oceans are blue because that's the color of whale shit.

Hit the jump for a couple more shots and video demo.

Thanks to Greg, who wants a Powder Puff Girls proton pack because that's his favorite cartoon except he never really said that and will probably never send me another tip again.

thats a waste of a perfectly good my little pony... ... ... i mean proton pack!

  • Chris

The Ghostbuster and My Little Pony streams have crossed - and it is bad.

  • balashi

Unless it shoots rainbows, it's worthless...

  • Carissa Lynn van Raak

my goodness... I want one :|

  • Photocopier

This poor man clearly has been warped into the mysterious 'F-R-1-3-N-D Z-0-N-3' field.

  • I had a proton pack when I was a kid.
Mine was made from a cardboard box.

  • Soylent Green Is People

    Fucking blasphemy.

  • Tyler AitchKay

I wonder if bronies know that they're not as cool as they think they are

  • Carlos V. Quevedo

So you like bashing on bronies. Is that your hobby or do you just not have a life?

I wonder if you are aware of all the fucks we do not give.
Anyways damn, that took some work. I'd have watch GB by now, but too many other scifi shows taking priority first. Besides the whole obvious ghost busting theme, could anyone give me some insight on what makes the show good?

  • Tyler AitchKay

You don't even know what ghostbusters is?

someone hold me im going to pass out from laughing so hard

  • Soylent Green Is People

Wow, dude, are you a "brony"? Because I'd like to meet you so I can break the world record for longest time spent laughing directly in a person's face.

  • SergioSource

Why don't you start practicing with a mirror then?
    1/10 made me reply

  • FancyTrousers

Well, after a few years of browsing this site almost every day I finally made an account. The only reason this happened was for this comment: I hope you're trolling or have a developmental disorder. Oh wait, being a brony already falls under the second category.

What's so wrong with being a brony? Care to explain why you think that way?

  • Tyler AitchKay

You set your entire lifestyle around a show that's designed to get little girls to buy toys from hasbro.

It's like if there were an entire subculture of fully grown women dedicated to making everything around them transformers related. It's off-putting and very disturbing to see people willingly desire to have their entire life revolve around a brand. To me it's the darkest form of consumerism imaginable.

  • Chris Bryan

Apple does the same thing to adults. Brainwash them into buying their crap. And for no explainable reason, everyone is obsessed with their overpriced crap.. And just like you, they attack people who don't worship apple.

  • If only Apple had the concept of shilling product disguised as a Saturday morning cartoon show. I am not thinking of it so one format would defeat another. More awesome would that cereal tie-in have been?

The rainbow Apple logo would have offered so many opportunities. But Windows may have acquired Lucky Charms by then to battle it out at the kitchen table - but with little binary-code things.

That's it! I'm going into the cereal business!

  • Tyler AitchKay

I don't remember attacking people for not worshipping apple, friend. Can you point to a time where I did this? Thanks, pal.
