Kind Of Want: The Periodic Table Of Muppet Characters

muppet-periodic-table-small.jpg

Note: Larger version HERE, but unfortunately there isn't really a high-res version available online because that is how you SELL POSTERS.

This is the Periodic Table of the Muppets created by designer Mike BaBoon. It would look perfect in my son's science themed nursery provided I actually had a son and he had a science themed nursery. I don't though, nobody wants to have sex with this and that's just something I need to learn to accept.

Each square represents a different character and indicates the primary Muppeteer(s) for that character, as well as the year and production in which the character made its debut. Borders align with hair/hat colour, background aligns with skin/fur colour, and colour of the abbreviated name represents nose colour (for characters with noses that is).

You can buy prints of the poster at Mike's Society6 and Redbubble stores, or you can choose not to and spend that money on something else. I suggest INVESTING. In what is entirely up to you, but I'd definitely consider LaserDiscs and cassette tapes. Remember: technology is cyclical.

Thanks to Sarah B and Fan, who have wanted to party with Animal their whole lives. Man, I just want to hang out and count with the Count.

There are Comments.
  • What we need now is a periodic table of periodic tables.

It's like the artist is vaguely aware of what a periodic table is, but didn't know that the layout actually means something.

  • Sabocat!

How do we stop the internet from making more periodic tables of stuff?

Although the font & layout are quite uninspired
