Sci-Fi Currency Converter Changes Real World Money Values Into Your Favorite Make-Believe World's Currency

sci-fi-currency-converter.jpg

The Sci-Fi Currency Converter is a website where you can see the exchange rates for US Dollars, Euros, British Pounds and Star Wars, Star Trek, Fallout, Sims, Skyrim, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice and Fire, Discworld, Red Dwarf and Judge Dredd money. You just pick whichever two you want to compare, enter a value, and PRESTO. There's also a brief explanation for how they valued each fictional currency so you can complain about how inaccurate they are while we all sit back and giggle at you for caring so much. Jesus, it's not like you got ripped off at the airport currency exchange flying back from Westeros.

Thanks to ChaosLex, who loves chaos so much sometimes he just throws handfuls of pennies at the feet of a crowd yelling FREE GOLD FOR EVERYONE.

Can you convert bottlecaps, to say Bold and the Beautiful dollars? Or 90120 credits?

  • PurpleJim8

Federation Credits? But money doesn't exist in Star Trek. (excluding alien currencies like Latinum and stuff)

  • star trek

It's gold pressed latinum mostly used by the Ferengi and one of the few things that cannot be replicated

And Discworld. And Game of Thrones. Methinks they aren't too wise on "SciFi."

Then again, this is a payday loan company putting this up, a rather notorious blight on the British economy right now, so I wouldn't trust the information provided as far as I could comfortably spit a rat.
