Original Series Batman Theme Performed By Actual Bats

bats-sing-batman-theme.jpg

This is a video of bat sounds put together to sing the original series Batman theme song. What the hell did you expect, this is the internet. Spiders dancing to the Spider Man theme? Give it a week.

Bats produce sounds that are not audible to human ears. First these ultrasounds were digitally reduced to frequencies that are audible. Then the different batsounds were assigned different keys on a keyboard. On this keyboard - the only real Bat-Organ - Ulrich Seidel played the Batman Theme.

One time a bat got into my parent's screened porch and I managed to catch it in a pillow case and release it back into the night. My parents were so proud. 'My brave little man' my mom called me. I think I was like, nineteen.

Hit the jump for the video.

Thanks to lilco, who convinced me bats are actually marsupials which might help explain this D on my biology report.
