Also Impressive: 3-D Tetris Chalk Drawing Stop-Motion

3d-tetris-in-chalk.jpg

Because I don't discriminate between Post-It animations and chalk animations (I'll watch anything that pisses away two minutes at work), this is a 3-D chalk art stop-motion from Chris Carlson (of 3-D Snake game fame) of Tetris being played. Amazingly, the player manages to set up a 4-line Tetris drop with the fewest amount of blocks possible. How veeerrrrrrry convenient. Can you tell I'm rolling my eyes? Okay, cool.

Hit the jump for the video, then when it's finished pound your desk and yell, "MY GOD DO I LOVE MAKING SPREADSHEETS" to cover your tracks.

Thanks to PYY, who agrees the best stop-motion is playing freeze tag in the backyard with a group of good friends. What is this, a Norman Rockwell painting?

Cool video, thanks a lot for sharing, that's called talent, as i like drawing i'll try doing something similar. But i'm rather more into pen drawings :) i'll try to draw a Tetris block and use it as the main theme of my ipad mini 2 home screen, that'd be fun :)

Cant wait to see Q-Bert! GW, tell him to do a q-Bert! Then a Hamburger Time. Maybe even a Dig Dug.

That was a little presumptuous on his part, I mean, a "perfect Tetris"? That almost never happens... well, it happened to me once, and it still plays the sound effects of the blocks falling, even though there are none left.
