Quadrocopter Gets Eagle Claw To Grab Things In Flight

March 19, 2013

Because building our future killers is all the rage right now, this is a video of a quadrocopter fitted with a 3-D printed claw modeled after an eagle's so it can grab things in flight. You know, things like YOUR HEAD. Then drop you from really high up. Like my high school physics teacher Mr. Logan used to say, "It's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop at the end." Every time he said it he would send himself into a laughing fit -- one time so bad he farted. He didn't even apologize.

Hit the jump for a video of the head-grabber in action.

Thanks to Matty Matt and clay, who both have quadrocopter hunting permits. Me? I have an expired fishing license.

This will revolutionize small parcel deliveries! The downside, increased hotdog theft! :(

And increase pigeon-unemployment, damn job stealing robots. *shakes fist at the now slightly more quadrorotor filled air*

so many drones, they may as well be doing something useful while obama flies them over our heads.

Woaaaaahhhh, Mr. Logan, as in, Mr. Logan from LN?

I think the university needs to spend a few bucks and get a decent slo-mo camera so it doesn't look so jerky! Oh wait - they already spent their budget on a white bedsheet for the backdrop!

    "Hey, my hat! Asshole!"
    .....just sayin
