I Would Have Passed Out: Two Bros Strapped With Stomach-Shocking Electrodes To Experience Labor Pains

men-with-labor-pains.jpg

This is a video of Dennis and Valerio from the Dutch show Proefkonijnen (Guinea Pigs -- turn the English subtitles on) getting electrodes strapped to their stomachs and electrified in waves to mimic the last two hours of contractions before childbirth. They both do a pretty good job coping at first but as things intensify one dude calls it quits because he's a sissy and should never be allowed to have unprotected sex again in his entire life. The other guy manages to survive the whole two hours but winds up having a really ugly baby. Obviously that first guy just doesn't have what it takes to be a woman (except for the vagina).

Hit the jump for the video, but skip to 3:00 for the shocking to start, skip to 5:00 for the real pain to begin and for all you women who have given birth before skip to 7:00 and just smiiiiiiile.

Thanks to PYY, who doesn't want to know what having a baby feels like and neither do I. I like my butt the way it is.

I'm a man and a kick in the balls doesn't really hurts that much,

  • grimbldoo

That lady was all mad that the men were laughing to cope with the early stages of pain.

  • jeffrey jakubowski

i'll believe this once they have a woman that's given birth go through this, and say its exactly the same.

  • Not true story

still not as bad as being kicked in the balls
Edit: just noticed all three comments below me seriously think child labor is THAT painful.
No it isn't c: men go through more pain than women ever do, chill bros.

I've heard that getting kicked in the balls causes crippling, shooting pain that travels up the spinal cord to the throat, violent nausea, and a sensation like your internal organs have been replaced with broken glass.

I experience that on and off for 48 hours every month, each episode lasting at least 3 hours without narcotic painkillers. And I am still expected to suck it up, smile, and go about my day being pleasant to everyone I meet. I am told that my pain is irrelevant, all in my head, and that it can't possibly be that bad.

As for being kicked in the balls - imagine being kicked in the balls for 12 hours while trying to force a cantaloupe out of your penis. The vagina takes way more punishment than a penis ever could, and was designed to, so I never understood why weakness and lack of pain tolerance was designated a female thing. Women weren't even allowed to take painkillers for childbirth for centuries, and then for about thirty years in the 20th century were told that labor pains were imaginary and could be done away with by breathing.

"The human body can bear only up to 45del (units) of pain. Women experience 57del (units) of pain during childbirth, the equivalent of breaking 20 bones simultaneously. Men experience up to 9000del (units) of pain from getting kicked in the balls, the equivalent of 160 childbirths and as many as 3200 broken bones."
    pissy much? ;)

  • Afonso

Don't you remember it's for two hours? I don't understand why people think it's a competition or something, breaking a bone hurts a lot more than a kick in the balls.

Since I'm here, turns out two minutes of internet research reveals that "factoid" is sourceless and full of shit. "dels" haven't even been used since the 90's and they were highly controversial even then.
    Nice try thought. :)
*My smile is false, I really think your a jack ass who couldn't be bothered to put in five minutes of research into a two-weeks-dry internet vendetta. Seriously what the hell are you doing with your life?*

May god grant a miracle and allow you to conceive a child and survive it's passing through your urethra, just to show you how wrong you are. A Kidney stone would probably also do if he's got better things to do that day.

Seriously though, there is a reason anesthesia is common practice for child birth. It may not be the most painful experience you can have, but a kick to the balls pales in comparison. To clarify, you're an idiot.

  • Not true story

To clarify, you obviously don't know what you are talking about :)

  • Idlethoughts

A month man, a whole freaking month, thats how long it took you to respond to this and you still ended up being wrong without anything what so ever to justify your idiocy.
I am honestly at a lose for words.

  • luxlucetintenebris

I think having it strapped onto their balls would have been more realistic!

  • Not true story

....what? labor is less painful than inflicting pain on male genitalia :) women honestly need to chill the fuck out, we DO know what they are going through, they are the ones that don't know what true pain is xD

  • ODwanKenObi

now shove that baby through their peener hole to get the full effect.

  • Closet Nerd

Lets see how they do getting an episiotomy
    ..... just sayin
