Do Not Touch: Animal Sculptures Made From Glass Shards

This is a series of animal sculptures created by Polish artist Marta Klonowska using pieces of shattered glass. I bet her hands look like she ran them through a paper shredder.
Almost all of her sculptures are based on animals found in baroque and romantic paintings by such artists as Peter Paul Rubens or Francisco de Goya next to which they are often displayed.
I think these sculptures really speak volumes about the fragile nature of animal life. No? What about how dangerous animals can be? I don't know, I'm not good at reading into art. If it's not a painting of some chubby nude lounging around eating fruit I usually don't get it. "And what do you get from those?" When I was a kid? Megaboners. Now? Just hungry.
Hit the jump for a bunch more.

Thanks to PYY, who agrees these would make great pets on account of their low maintenance but terrible pets on account of their snugability.
