US Bills Defaced With Justice League Characters

January 4, 2013

This is a series of US bank notes defaced (technically refaced) with Justice League characters by artist Aslan (like the lion) Malik. Although I'm pretty sure he didn't actually draw ON the bills, it was all done INSIDE A COMPUTER. Think TRON, but with like, a shit-ton more glowing frisbees. Man, wouldn't it be cool if our actual money had superheroes on them? Then the rest of the world would have to take us seriously.

Thanks to my buddy Terry, who drew a penis on Alexander Hamilton's forehead but the sandwich artist running the register at Subway refused to take it. But it's legal tender!

you'd have to send respect to these heroes. its a lot harder for ugly peoples in the sup hero business.

I still find the purple fives somewhere between hilarious and appalling.

I'll drink to that. (boots Captain bottle) Ahh! This shit is magic in the making. Currency is based on nothing. Pure creation. This seems fitting to me right now.

They would look more redicillous if a full-body art piece was done.
...Just leave out Wonder Jackson of that artwork. I don't even want to imagine.
