Little Debbie Fills Twinkie Void With Cloud Cakes
As I'm sure you all heartbreakingly recall, Hostess went out of business, taking Twinkies with them. So what's an overweight glutton to do for their prepackaged sponge-cake fix? Enter Little Debbie's Cloud Cakes, a Twinkie knockoff ready to fill the market (and your mouth!) with creamy goodness. For the sake of journalistic integrity, I read a couple reviews online about how they compare to Twinkies, but then got sidetracked reading about how to bake cookies in the microwave, which is kind of where I'm at now. Full disclosure: I don't even HAVE a microwave, I only have a hot plate. And it's not even a real hot plate, it's just a regular plate I warm up by running it under hot water. I tried to cook a pork chop on it once and got sick. Plus worms.
Thanks to Smitty, who agrees if there's a hole in the market, somebody's going to fill it like a jelly-stuffed donut.
