Body Part Histology (Microscopic Cell) Dessert Plates

December 5, 2012 / body parts, cells, damn $60 kinda grody plates!, dessert, dinnerware, eating off things, expensive, for a salad maybe -- but dessert?, i eat with my hands directly out of the container the food came in or wrapped in a paper towel and that is pretty much it, i might just leave a little bit of meat so i don't even get any pudding, microscopic, neato, plates

This is a series of dessert plates featuring real microscopic cell shots of various body parts created by medical illustrator/artist Emily Evans. The plates are $60/apiece or $200 for the entire set, but are currently sold out because who doesn't want to eat dessert off a close-up of a testicle?
