Beanie Hat With Pattern Of The Carpet From 'The Shining'

the-shining-beanie.jpg

This is the Weir Overlook Special Edition beanie. It's a beanie knit with the pattern of the carpet in the Overlook Hotel from 'The Shining'. I like the blue pom-pom on top (I'm a sucker for pom-poms). They'll be available sometime later this month but are a limited edition so you're going to have to act fast if you want one. Me? I think I'm going to pass -- IN THE RIGHT LANE. Oh God that truck doesn't see me. *CRASH*

Hit the jump for a couple more shots.

Thanks to my buddy Terry, who told me he really wants one but I told him they look stupid so he wouldn't get one then I could get one and brag about it after they're sold out. And to Notkendra, who agrees it's a great hat to help avoid losing a friend in a crowd.

There are Comments.
  • That isn't a "beanie hat". It's a "toque".

  • Yams is to sweet potatoes. Beanie hat is to toque. :D

  • Why is the top blue? it ruined it for me :-/

To match Danny's sweater. Also, it's the colour of the twins' dresses. It shows up a lot in the film. I think it works well.

Check out this matching pen to go with it!

If Jack had this on, he wouldn't have died in the snow. He would have been a warm boy.

I doubt even Jack Nicholson would pick that one out if you walked past him wearing one of these outside at the bar, just sayin

I like that pattern, too bad I had always OVERLOOKed that in the movie. <_<

I am audibly booing you, in spite of strange looks from my coworkers.

I was just watching The Shining about a month ago and thought: 'Hey it would be cool if someone started a business making designs inspired by textiles in movies'. Specifically this carpet pattern. You always beat me to the punch Internet, always.
