This is a real, single photograph of 28 climbers hanging on and around 'Ago del Torrone' in the Alps between Switzerland and Italy. It took over five hours of climbing in freezing temperatures to make the shot a reality, and, obviously, everyone involved is a certifiable crazy person.
Robert Boesch, 58, said: 'It took several months of organisation and I am really happy with the results.
'It took five hours to climb and required plenty of preparation.
'There was a lot of pressure but luckily I was working with very good guides and that was the key.
'The resulting image is exactly what we wanted. It can be seen that it is individual people on natural rocks. This picture is real and alive.'
The people on the sides are for-real just hanging there from a support around their waists. That's terrifying. They must have balls of...I don't even know what. Balls of parachutes maybe.
Hit the jump for a closeup of a couple dudes just hanging there all nonchalant. Me? I'd be screaming and crying and peeing myself and then it would freeze to my legs and I'd get frostbite and doctors would probably have to amputate. So yeah, that's basically why I didn't volunteer.
Thanks to Macy, who refuses to climb anywhere but to the top of the corporate ladder. I like climbing in the ball pit at McDonalds!
