Rare Condition That Causes Scalp To Look Like A Brain

brain-head-condition-censored.jpg

Note: Uncensored shot after the jump because I'm a firm believer that nobody on the internet should be able to make you vomit without warning.

This is a shot of a man with a rare condition called cutis verticus gyrata. It causes folds in your scalp, which start to resemble a brain. This isn't even the most extreme example -- I made the mistake of Googling the condition and there are some much, MUCH more intense pictures out there. I don't suggest looking at them. I know I typically operate with a "If I had to see it, so do you" policy, so consider this an early Christmas present. Now, let's all take a moment to be thankful we don't have this. Or mini-peens.

Hit the jump for the brainier looking shot.

Reminds me of that The Time Machine movie(based on HG well's book) where the future is apparently controlled by these people

Too tame, going back to best gore for my masturbatory needs.

hey my friend at work has this!

  • Scruff0

My flatmate has this - he had no idea that it was a medical condition, and less so that it had an actual Latin official sounding name!

  • i thought only fat people had this problem

  • That's really not that bad.

  • Matticus Morgan

I've seen a couple of people with this at basic training.. it's really not all that rare...

I actually have this condition. I did not know there was a name for it, or even that it was a condition. What causes it?

Also, just so you know, I don't wear my hair short enough so as to tell. I stopped after realizing my head did this.

  • I had no idea this is rare. For all you dissenters out there, I implore you to look into basic training head shaving. I've seen this stuff at least 10 times in my career. Not only is it very real, It's truly not as uncommon as you'd think.

aww cute its a scunchyface puppy :)

  • There's a worse one than this on the 'Embarrassing Bodies' t.v show.. If you watch it expect a lot of gross diseases, ugly va-jayjays and the smallest peens ever (even GW wouldn't get aroused by them ;P) - http://www.channel4.com/progra...

Doesn't creep me out, but there is one pic on google that makes me sad, http://www.scielo.br/scielo.ph... . It's like a tumor almost. Poor kid having to deal with that.

  • John F

    I googled it lol

  • Ben Beesley

Is this really that disturbing? I mean...I was expecting something really horrific under the censored portion...but yeah, I mean...he's got weird folds in his scalp. Anyone who would become nauseous by something like this needs to re-examine their life.

I even google image'd it, it is, to me at least, more interesting then disgusting. To me, thinking this is gross is like thinking snakes are slimey.

  • Have you seen Terry Crews' head lately? Its pretty brainy lookin'.

  • dalaurya

Still more presentable than teething toddler skull.
