Maybe he got so pissed back in the day about other people changing films and art with new technology that he just said, " you know what, ill show everybody how lame this can be!" that would make him a genius. then again, maybe he is just a huge, hypocritical tool

  • I don't want to go off on this yet, cause I lost it when Disney brought Marvel but I'd like to assume that if it wasn't for Disney the Marvel movie-verse wouldn't have turned out the way it is. So I'll reserve judgement till I see this new Star Wars movie.

    Consider Pirates of the Caribbean. I can see it now, episode 7 staring Johnny Depp, soundtrack by Daft Punk...

  • Screw those crappy pirate movies, I'm talking about the Avengers. I personally think techno works well for Sci-fi movies and works best if orchestrated specifically for the movie, and Daft Punk has proven that they are capable of such a task. The music they made for Tron: Legacy was on point.
