PANIC & STOCKPILE: Global Bacon Shortage Imminent

According to a recent report from the U.K.'s National Pig Association, Britain is experiencing a shortage of pork products because swine is getting too expensive to raise and farmers are cutting their herd size, and apparently the whole world is experiencing the same. Also, are groups of pigs really called a herd? "No, they're called you and your friends." Oh, GOOD ONE.
New data shows the European Union pig herd is declining at a significant rate, and this is a trend that is being mirrored around the world. Pig farmers have been plunged into loss by high pig-feed costs, caused by the global failure of maize and soya harvests. All main European pig-producing countries report shrinking sow herds.
It's believed that bacon prices will rise drastically, possibly even to the point where you're not adding it TO ALL SIX MEALS OF THE DAY. "But I like it!" *patting belly* I know you do.
Thanks to h3llbring3r and Kimukku, who just bought one of those big chest freezers your friend's family had in their garage and have already started stockpiling.
