Game Of Thrones Theme On Violin (With Tons Of Flair)

September 7, 2012

This is a video of violinist Lindsey Stirling (of Zelda, Lord of the Rings and Skyrim themes fame) performing a cover of the Game of Thrones theme. Like the rest of her stuff, the production value of the video is ridiculous and she plays in her usual -- what's the nice way to say spazzy? "Expressive." Yes! She plays in her usual EXPRESSIVE style. No worries, Lindsey, I play music pretty expressively myself. "You have zero musical talent." Whatever! *tries to whistle, spits out a tooth* Oh shishi, I hope that wasn't one of mine. "Who else's could it be?" I kiss HARD.

Hit the jump for the video.

Thanks to ChaosLex and Pat, who agree everything is prettier performed by a waterfall. Even a fat man playing with himself (although I still wouldn't pay to see it).

  • Reginald Aurelius Smythe III

    That guy pulls funny faces

  • Sorry Lindsey, much as i like you, but the video of the cat is still better! What is the point of the guy in the video as well?

  • Girgear

Peter looks more like Littlefinger than Ser Jorah.

  • I love her style, but the balance of the music drowned out the moving part of the melody.

  • Forblat

I should like all of these movies, but I really, really don't. I don't know why, but I get tired of them 30 seconds in every time.

  • daine

that was the gayest thing, ever.

  • painweaver

Would have been WAY better if it were just layered string parts, and not the weird dude acapella/scatman john-like cheesyness.

  • GirlFromSpace

Man...she is one giant ball of talent and cuteness! ^_^

  • got VIP passes to her show in Pittsburgh on oct 2nd! can't wait!
