Yow Yow!: Superman And Wonder Woman To Be A Couple
So apparently Superman and Wonder Woman are gonna start dating in upcoming issue #12 of the rebooted Justice League. Assuming one date per comic, they should be rubbing privates by #15. Now THAT is gonna be the issue to buy.
The comic, which goes on sale Aug. 29, culminates months of flirty foreshadowing. Writer Geoff Johns hints that some event -- possibly tragic -- will impact every member of the Justice League, and cause Superman and Wonder Woman to seek solace in each other and move from super-powered colleagues to power couple. This is no one-issue stunt: "This is the new status quo," says Johns, adding that the relationship will have a seismic impact on all the heroes and villains in the DC universe.
Hoho! Superman and Wonder Woman, sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G. First comes love, then comes marriage, then a super-baby bursts out of Wonder Woman's stomach like a f***ing freight train and blows up the sun. Great.
