Man Drags Camera Behind Boat, Catches Dolphin Frenzy

dolphin-frenzy.jpg

This is the footage of a group of Pacific white-sided dolphins Mark Peters captured after dragging a GoPro camera behind his boat while tuna fishing. Dolphins, man, they're like...smarter than all my close friends. ISN'T THAT RIGHT, DUMMIES? "I don't think they read Geekologie." They don't, they tell me. :(

Hit the jump for the worthwhile video, things pick up around 1:00.

Thanks to WillIAmNot and Alexis, who agree we should train dolphins to help kids do their homework.

That was pretty cool, just to see a whole pod chasing the boat for fish scraps or god knows what reason, but also mesmerizing almost to the point I feel like the double rainbow guy lmao.

  • Amazing how the guitar sound came in so clear underwater

  • Scruffy thought that "frenzy" meant that they were going to tear each other apart...*sighs*

  • its ok G Dub. I READ GEEKOLOGIE.

  • If you're going to club a tuna fish, you should club them to death... You can't half-ass it...

Starting at 2:16 there is a stream of "brown water" in the lower right hand side of the video. One of those damn things took a shit while being filmed. Dolphins are nasty.

I saw that too lol you saved me time

ah, that is pretty awesome. They were lucky to get such a clear shot o' this pod.

  • Ummm.... it's clearly CGI...

  • Actually the video is so rare that we might think that it´s CGI, that it can´t be real. But that kind of CGI costs a lot, so it makes no sense. Plus, by the stains and scars on their skin, you can see that they´re all different dolphins.
