Man, I would stomp through there like Godzilla faster than you could say, "Nooooooo, please don't, I spent a lot of time on that!"

This is LEGOmaniac Daniel Z's recreation of the Battle of the Hornburg at Helm's Deep. It, uh, looks pretty legit. Way better than my recreation of the battle, which was a spoken-word rendition I performed on top of the 'Werewolves of London' track I was supposed to be singing at karaoke one night. Hey -- sometimes you get drunk and it happens.

♫ So there was a big explosion

And then the orcs came
AND THEN THE ORCS CAME ♫

Hey man what happened to the music?
What the -- did you really just cut my song?
I PUT A DOLLAR IN YOUR JAR, BRO.
Listen man, you're probably the worst karaoke DJ I've ever met and I used to know a guy who didn't even HAVE music, he would just hum the songs behind you.
*chugs beer*
I'm drinking one more of these and then leaving angry.

Hit the jump for several more of the impressiveness.

This is a video of Jeremy 'Balloon Man' Telford recreating a corner of Bilbo Baggins' hobbit hole Bag End out of 2,600 balloons over the span of three days. He does a good job. Sure if I had been involved it would have been way more detailed, but I wasn't invited to particip... / Continue →

Note: Worthwhile larger shot HERE for more detail. Also on display at Comic-Con, LEGO has announced this upcoming Bag End Lord of the Rings playset, appropriately named 'An Unexpected Visit'. And speaking of unexpected visits -- did I tell you who showed up at my house last ... / Continue →
