32-Year Old Has Real Conversation With 12-Year Old Self

conversation-with-self.jpg

This is a video of 32-year old Jeremiah McDonald having a conversation with his 12-year old self via VHS tape thanks to the younger Jeremiah having the foresight to tape himself having a spazzy, open-ended conversation with a future version of himself. That...is pretty deep for a 12-year old. Not gonna lie, when I was that age I was still smashing toy trucks together and pooping behind the couch.

Hit the jump for the worthwhile video.

Thanks to Nick, who wishes he could bestow all the wisdom he has now on his 12-year old self. SAME, HOMEY. I would have told myself to always wear two Speedos when I was on the swim team so that time the one tore all the way down the back when I was bent over on the starting block the rest of the team wouldn't have seen my a-hole (true story).

He used that quote specifically because in one episode, the Doctor was talking to someone through use of a recording while they were in different time periods. Much like this video...

  • i know but in the context it sounded like it was from the episode the time of angels and not the episode the idiots lantern. so i thought the way his past self reacted would have better context with are you my mummy with just considering the way he looked.

  • The Weeping Angels weren't in the episode 'The Idiot's Lantern'... they were, however, in 'Blink'.

Also, he did use a line that would pertain to 'Time of Angels'; if he had said "(d)on't blink!" it would have been a better (and more accurate) reference.

  • lol. lets just all agree. doctor who quotes are awesome!

  • AGREED! ;)

  • You just don't get it, do you?... obviously...

  • i get it but i still like are you my mummy better.

Wow, that was pretty amazing and hilarious at the same time.

My younger me would think I'm a big geek & would love my illustrations. I was a crazy video gamer and a really outgoing kid.

well, it's time to make a video for me in 10-20 years...when I'm 30ish. ha ha that's if the cyborg army or aliens don't destroy us all.
