The Puke Inducer: Terrifying Russian Theme Park Ride

May 4, 2012

This is a video of some terrifying amusement park ride built in the woods of Russia, shot on some shitty Cold War era camera phone. Now I know you may have seen rides LIKE this one before, but this is the first time I saw one that got this crazy. Just watch the video and skip to 0:50 or after if you're impatient. Would you ride it? Because I rode it twice -- IN A ROW. Now I'm suing for brian damage. "You mean brain?" Exactly.

Hit the jump and get your 'AAAAAAAAH, we're all gonna die!' on.

Thanks to Tobias, who always rides on the front of roller coasters so he can't get puked on except on loopty-loops.

Meh, we have one of those in Antarctica.

  • Alexander0178

    I've tried it. It's boring.

  • ZB

Dude this is just the same as the "WIPEOUT" here in AUS

  • Jodes214

have it  in australia too... the wipeout at dreamworld.

  • Soylent Green Is People

Russia is one giant theme park ride. That place is practically the Land That Time Forgot.

  • Riku Pepponen

We have the same thing in Finland at Linnanmäki's Amusement park.

  • Hanadulset

haha, wut? we have something like this at the local county fair, albeit a bit smaller.

  • Somebody's going to die.

  • painweaver

Are they playing Russian 80s hair metal?

  • blank

meh the ride is alright, its at the stampede every year

I have a feeling that if you sat in the middle you wouldn't get quite the same sensation as you would if you were sat near one on the ends. But yeah I'd go on it. It's nothing new, as shown by other people in the comments, but you know what I'd do first? Eat. A lot. And then if it does come to the point where I puke, then I won't be the only one to  experience it. i'm such a nice guy.

  • The Manufacturer is Vekoma and this is their Waikiki Wave Super Flip model, it has been around for 20 years or more.

  • wastedkitten

I was expecting it to go faster than that ..

  • Clemonton Park in Clemonton, NJ has one of these, they run it a fair bit faster than that one

  • Make it move faster and then we have a real ride!

  • Guest

That looks fun; I bet from their perspective this is just a bun of crazy twists and turns. I'll try anything once. haha

Meh. We got one of those in Vienna, but it's got a fountain underneath that sprays you while the ride holds you upside down. So you shit your pants and get drenched all at once.

  • I've been to these rides before. Twice in a row actually. It's quite fun really..

  • Is this new?  I swear I've seen these things before.  I think they even have something like it in Kennywood or Idlewild.  They really aren't that bad in regards to the flipping, the real problem comes if you are over 6', like myself, because the restraint system on rides like this  just aren't designed for you're height.  I found this out the hard way riding something similar at Geauga Lake.
