Endless Possibilities!: Universal Construction Kit Attaches LEGO to K'Nex, Lincoln Logs, Tinkertoys And More!

The Universal Construction Kit is a set of 3-D printable connectors made to attach 10 brands of popular children's toys. They are: LEGO, Duplo, Fischertechnik, Gears! Gears! Gears!, K'Nex, Krinkles (Bristle Blocks), Lincoln Logs, Tinkertoys, Zome, and Zoob. Want to build a LEGO castle with an integrated Lincoln Log facade? WELL NOW YOU CAN! *kicks through sister's doll house* I...probably shouldn't have done that.
Free Universal Construction Kit: a set of adapters for complete interoperability between 10 popular construction toys. F.A.T. Lab and Sy-Lab are pleased to present the Free Universal Construction Kit: a matrix of nearly 80 adapter bricks that enable complete interoperability between ten popular children's construction toys. By allowing any piece to join to any other, the Kit encourages totally new forms of intercourse between otherwise closed systems, enabling radically hybrid constructive play, the creation of previously impossible designs, and ultimately, more creative opportunities for kids.
Oh man, I've tried to encourage totally new forms of intercourse between things before. But you know what happened? People called me crazy. They wouldn't even read my pamphlets! "This says 'The Butt -- You Might Be Glad You Did'." Right?! It's not the kind of literature you'd just throw on the ground right after I hand it to you. "Um, GW? The butt isn't new." Sex swing -- THIS MAN OWNS A SEX SWING!
Hit the jump for several more pictures including a poster of all the pieces avery brief video and a link to the info site with places to download the 3-D models to print yourself.

Thanks to Shawn, who I believe had something to do with the project but could just be a guy with a closet full of old children's toys who's really f***ing stoked about these connectors.
