I'm Practicing My Kissing!: Tongue-Based Controller

This is the Tongue Drive System developed by researchers at Georgia Tech. Using a tongue piercing with a magnetic tip and retainer with magnetic sensors, the device is able to track tongue movement, which is then translated into on-screen action. *trying to tongue a piece of lettuce from between my teeth* Ugh -- I just ran off a f***ing cliff.
Earlier versions used a headset, but the prototype revealed at the International Solid State Circuits Conference in San Francisco, is hoped to be more comfortable and discreet. The system is currently being trialled by 11 participants with high-level spinal-cord injuries, with larger trials planned.
Admittedly, it's a great idea, but I think it's gonna require a little more work before anybody's playing Call of Duty with that thing. Making diagonal movements seems impossible, plus what if I need to like, mash all the buttons simultaneously? "Why would you need to do that?" I spaz out a lot!

Thanks to lacy and Gregorian, who control things the old fashioned way: with fear and the threat of violence.
