Dec 9 2008Good Job: Steampunk'd Star Wars Characters

steam-wars-1.jpg

We've already seen steampunk'd Star Wars here on Geekologie. First in LEGO form, then as a Vader helmet, then figurines, and, most recently, a steamy little R2. Well recently, the Society of Digital Artists held a little Steampunk Star Wars contest, and these are some of the winners. Now tell me, does being all Victorian make Princess Leia any less bangable?

A: No, provided she remove the burning coals from her vajayjay.

Hit the jump for several more winners.

Thanks to Matt, who once steampunk'd Ashton Kutcher in the taint.

9th!

FUGLY!!!

hrmmm, george lucas meets white mischief?

FAKE! You can tell because the shadows are all wrong.

This is just like in that movie What about Bob when Yvette married the gardener and then they went to the waffle house.

Holy crap thats cool.

I came at the first picture, but I don't think it's going to hold up :/

Pretty damn cool looking images but are they really going to make a movie out of it, Lucas is notorious as a copyright fiend, just can't see him giving the OK somehow

Helluva lightsabre you got there Vader.

I love steam punk ! oh and PEWing , nothing better that a good PEW

I think that is think tank for punk. I lived once in rabbit hole and some steampunks stole my clockwatch from mine hand. It's now so unhandy and weirdy.

I'm not a steam punk fan myself. But some of that stuff actually works well with the Star Wars theme. Except the Zepplin AT-AT. That one is FAIL.

Pew pew pew

I CAME!

Wow... I just had a nerdgasm.

By the way, very nice site. Love spending all the night here.
It's a shame that half of the comments are just stupid. Specially the "FIRST" ones and, recently, these "FAKE!" ones.

FAKE!!!!

This is a complete photoshop job. You can tell its a fake because the shadow's are all wrong.

This is exactly like that scene in the movie Never Back Down where max gets hit in the head with a coconut, and loses his memory. Then later Baja whacks him in the head with another coconut and it cures him.

Sweet, especially the knockers, the force is strong with those.

That blimp thing would pwn in a fight

vader actually looks cool for once. except for that big ass mickey mouse black glove hand.

what?

that's just wrong.

Terrible

OMGOMGOMGOGMGOM STEEMPUNCK ITS COOL

LOL BACON TOOH LOL BACKEN IS THE FUNYEST THING EVR

LOL

i totally think this video (see link) should be on here

so menneh trols

i think leia is even more bangable ahah

Star Wars would have probably been better if it were Steam Punked.

Damn thats some fine steampunking !!

They totally ripped off the HellBoy villians for Vader's look, way ghey.

looks like some ugly ass shit from dune.

terrible, terrible idea.

I dig the stormtroopers and the ATAT. nice work!

hahaha Dune
x)

Not bad, Leia's the best of the bunch. And the speeder bike doesn't really look all that different from normal, so that one gets a FAIL, the others will do

That Stormtrooper is too flouncy. As if you can mass produce that. I mass produce babies so I should know, techincally effecient blocky little wrought iron babies.

Nice idea on the AT-AT tho.

"Steam Punk" in the form of the Star Wars logo makes me "F***in' Gonuts" and totally kills my "F***in'groovin"....

Logo puns(?) are the very worst. Thank you '93 skater and rave culture!

I have to say, I do enjoy a good steampunking.

I... AM DARTH STEAMPUNK!

Beautiful, just beautiful.
